AMERICAN Presents 1st Annual Latino Gala
Dear Community Members and Partners,
The Association of Mexicans in North Carolina, Inc. (AMEXCAN) and the Eastern North Carolina Latin American Coalition, Inc. (ENCLACO) extend an invitation to the 1st annual AMEXCAN Latino Benefit Gala on Saturday October 14th at 7:00pm at the Greenville Convention Center at
303 Greenville Blvd SW, Greenville, NC 27834.
AMEXCAN has been a key stakeholder in working towards social justice and equity, community empowerment and education, and more during its 16 years of service to our local communities. One avenue we utilize is the empowerment and education of our youth in order to equip them to be the next generation’s leaders and advocates. We provide a variety of programs and initiatives for those tasks. One is the sponsoring of dedicated, community minded, and committed youths to assist them in the pursuit of their higher education.
The AMEXCAN Latino Benefit Gala will utilize proceeds and donations to go towards scholarships to students of such caliber from the local community. The benefit will offer opportunities to network and create new partnerships during the dinner and networking portion. There will be entertainment provided by local dance groups who will showcase diverse Latino cultural dances. Come out to enjoy a night of networking, community togetherness, food, entertainment, and more!
