​Join the Democratic Women of Wilson County for a peaceful Walk for Democracy right here in Wilson this Saturday, March 28, as part of the nationwide No Kings movement. This is an officially recognized event, and all Wilson County Democrats are welcome.

We’ll gather at the public library after the county convention and take a short, easy three-block walk together to the courthouse grounds, where we’ll pause for a brief moment of community and reflection.

If you’re not attending the convention, no problem, just meet us at 12:30 PM and step into the walk with us.

We’ll stay on the sidewalk, moving safely and respectfully as one.

Bring a sign, bring a friend, bring your voice.

The message on your sign can be as simple as “No Kings” or something close to your heart such Healthcare, not warfare; Childcare, not Warfare; Protect Voting Rights; ICE out; We the People; Take Care of Our Vets, not Billionaires; etc.... Be creative but stay peaceful.

This is a moment to show up, stand together, and be counted—peacefully, powerfully, and with purpose.
